Nina Powers
Submission Intern
Nina Powers is the submissions intern at GLM. She is a recent graduate of Emerson College, where she earned her degree in Publishing. While at Emerson, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Emerson Review, where she enjoyed reading submissions from all around the world. She has also interned at Calligraph. Some of her favorite authors include Carmen Maria Machado, James Baldwin, and Chelsea G. Summers. Her short fiction has been published in the Foundationalist, and she is currently working on a novel that examines the predatory nature of the underground weight loss industry.
