Oliver Martin

Agency Assistant

Ollie is the agency assistant at GLM. He graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors English with a minor in Spanish in May 2021. His senior thesis interrogated common threads in fiction pointing towards a desire to heal shellshock (PTSD) and the means in which men choose to combat post-war stress after World War I. With time spent learning under professors like American heavyweight author P.F. Kluge, Ollie worked to cultivate a uniquely balanced writing style of both creative and analytical writing spheres. Also using his Spanish degree during his time at Kenyon, Ollie was published in the literary magazine A Medio Camino for his poetry written in Spanish. During his free time, Martin works closely with Jenna Blum and Caroline Leavitt to produce the Friday Frontliner podcast hosted by A Mighty Blaze, the celebrated platform connecting writers to readers. Ollie is excited about pursuing a career in book publishing.
