Haylie received her B.S. degree in animal science from Colorado State University. She then turned to human health, becoming a Registered Wellness Consultant in 1995, specializing in holistic health, nutrition, exercise, and stress management. She received her level II certifications from IABP in Ft. Collins, Colorado, where she went on to sit as the director of the academy for four years.

She received advanced certifications from the Institute of Quantum and Molecular Medicine in EDS, Health and Wellness Principles, Homotoxicology, Autotoxic Therapies, Biological Terrain, Heart Rate Variability, and Non-cognitive Biofeedback. She is also a certified Holistic Health Counselor.
